The Role
We are looking for an experienced Mixed Tax Senior to join our growing tax team.
You will be an integral part of our tax team working with a diverse client portfolioincluding owner-managed businesses (OMBs), SMEs, sole traders, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
This role offers a balanced split of compliance work and exposure to tax advisory projects, working closely with managers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file corporate and personal tax returns, P11Ds, and income/expenditure accounts.
- Handle day to day correspondence with HMRC and assist with enquiries and compliance checks.
- Good ability to liaise and communicate with clients and colleagues, providing advice and managing expectations.
- Support tax planning initiatives with research opportunities and input.
- Support, train, and help mentor junior staff to ensure high-quality, efficient service.
Required Skills and Experience
- Professional qualifications such as CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA or working towards these qualifications
- Proven experience in a tax compliance role.
- Strong analytical ability
- An understanding of tax regulations, current UK tax legislation and familiarity with various tax software packages
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Right to work in Northern Ireland
- The successful candidate will be a confident, ambitious character who is keen to learn and progress in a career in tax practice.
