Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious construction, building and engineering disputes
• Advise clients on practical, cost-effective dispute resolution strategies
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other key documents
• Handle complex regulatory and procedural issues with precision
• Support other practice areas (including professional indemnity matters)
• Contribute to business development via seminars, articles and client events
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality advice

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE in construction disputes or commercial litigation with an interest in construction
• Strong technical ability and willingness to develop specialist construction expertise
• Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence managing contentious matters independently
• Strong communication and client handling skills
