Senior Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you will drive evidence-based decisions by delivering data-driven insights and AI-enabled solutions within Wellcome’s Data & Digital team. You’ll lead workstreams, mentor colleagues, and develop dashboards and models that translate data into actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality data products that support strategic priorities. This is a chance to influence decision-making at scale while advancing data literacy across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects within workstreams or product areas
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
• Develop dashboards, models, datasets and AI-enabled analytical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver robust insights and recommendations

Key requirements

• Significant experience in analytics with large datasets
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, R, Excel, GitHub Copilot or equivalent
• Strong data acumen and understanding of data structures, governance and interpretation
• Proven project management skills across the full lifecycle
• Excellent communication and data storytelling to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to drive impact through data and analytics
