Software Engineering Professional

Overview

In this role you support the software engineering strategy within BT’s security-focused portfolio. You will contribute to design, development and delivery of high-performance software, aligning with architecture and security standards. You’ll work with a specialist security team that partners with governments and protects critical infrastructure, delivering impactful projects at scale. You will collaborate across functions to enable continuous delivery and developer productivity, while pursuing engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of software solutions per architecture and security standards
• Influence technical decisions, technology choices and architecture across products and platforms
• Maintain systems by monitoring and fixing defects
• Assist in implementing tools and automation to enable continuous delivery and productivity
• Write, test and review code, with supervision and iterative refinement
