Head of Data, Analytics & Digital Transformation

Overview

In this senior role you will lead a modern, data-driven function to boost operational performance and decision-making through data, analytics, automation, AI and digital tech. You will shape the organisation’s data and digital transformation strategy and govern data quality, accessibility and reporting. You’ll drive cross-functional change, explore emerging tech, and build a high-performing team to deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership position with a clear mandate to elevate digital capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the data and digital transformation strategy
• Build data governance, reporting and analytics capabilities
• Ensure reliable business data quality and accessibility
• Lead digital transformation, automation and tech-enabled change programmes
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging tech for efficiency
• Develop dashboards, MI and insights for senior decision-making
• Build and lead a high-performing data and digital team
• Manage budgets, business cases, suppliers and transformation benefits
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across technology, finance, operations
• Maintain governance, risk, data protection and information security standards

Key requirements

• Significant leadership experience across data, analytics, digital transformation or technology
• Track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes
• Experience developing data strategies and governance frameworks
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of analytics, BI, automation, AI and emerging technologies
• Commercial awareness with budget and business case management
• Strong programme management, stakeholder engagement and change management
• Strategic and commercially minded with focus on measurable outcomes
