Test Engineer

Overview

As a Test Engineer in the Web Platform squad, you help ensure mission-critical financial software meets high quality, security, and performance standards. You will work with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to plan, design, and execute tests, including automation and DevOps activities. You contribute to improving testing tools, processes, and delivery quality, supporting CI/CD-integrated testing. This role offers exposure to a product used by top financial institutions and opportunities to shape testing strategy in a globally distributed platform.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full cycle of development for new user stories, including requirements review, solution design, implementation, and testing plan
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define system requirements and test strategies
• Automate test cases using appropriate testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
• Identify, document, and track defects and support resolution with development teams
• Support CI/CD-integrated test execution and troubleshoot automation failures
• Continuously look for ways to improve testing processes, tools, and software quality

Key requirements

• Bachelors degree in computing or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in testing and/or software development
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with Selenium
• Programming skills in Java or Python
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (beneficial)
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
