Responsibilities

• Manage performance of a major subcontractor to meet contractual cost, quality and schedule
• Monitor risks and oversee mitigation activities, escalating as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support subcontractor performance and manage interdependencies
• Review contractual management deliverables and track progress against software development and manufacturing plans
• Support rolling programme planning with key stakeholders and subcontractor teams

Key requirements

• Experience delivering complex projects with major subcontractor or supplier relationships
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with ability to challenge constructively
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across levels
• Knowledge of project controls, planning, scheduling, risk management, and performance reporting tools
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, conflicts, and delivery in complex engineering/defence/manufacturing/technology environments
