Ad Hoc Class 1 Drivers

Class 1 Drivers – Ad Hoc – Manchester – £18.00-£23.00 per hour

VTA Recruitment is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a variety of clients across Manchester on an ad hoc basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, great rates of pay and straightforward driving work.

The roles available offer nice, easy work with no handballing and no heavy lifting, making this an ideal opportunity for drivers who prefer to focus on the driving rather than physical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and collections.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Follow all UK road transport legislation, tachograph rules and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with transport teams and customers.

Requirements

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 9 penalty points on your licence.
• Reliable, professional and safety conscious.
• Flexible to work days, afternoons and weekends.
