Health care support worker | Driving essential | 1-to-1 role
Looking for a friendly, reliable and confident Personal Assistant to join my small team in the Bridgend area.
This is a 1-to-1 role supporting me to live independently. One day might involve personal care and everyday tasks at home, while another could mean heading out for the day, attending an event somewhere in the UK or even travelling abroad on holiday, with work expenses covered.
The role includes:
- 1-to-personal care, dressing and daily routines
- Mobility support and manual handling
- Driving to appointments, social activities, events and days out
- Opportunities to support UK trips and holidays abroad
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised home
- Food preparation and good food-hygiene practices
- Medication support
- Keeping simple, accurate care records
- Working confidently on your own and taking initiative
- Offering flexibility around you
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and maintaining high standards of care, hygiene, health & safety and confidentiality.
A full driving licence is essential, and ideally you’ll live in or close to Bridgend.
Previous care experience is great, but it’s not essential for the right person And training can be provided.
