Senior AI DevOps Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design, build and operate AI-enabled software and platform solutions in production. You will work across software development, DevOps and cloud platforms, shaping technical approaches and raising engineering standards. You’ll own the delivery of reliable, production-grade systems that integrate with AI services, while collaborating with engineers, platform teams and AI specialists. A strong hook is the blend of modern software engineering, DevOps, and applied AI at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and operate AI-enabled software and platform solutions
• Develop API-driven services and integrations for AI capabilities
• Modernise applications to cloud-native/service-based architectures
• Implement integration mechanisms between software and AI platforms
• Leverage AI tools to boost engineering productivity with emphasis on quality, safety and correctness
• Review and guide AI-generated code/outputs to meet engineering standards
• Build services using TypeScript and Python with strong testing and clean code practices
• Package, deploy and operate workloads using Kubernetes (e.g., Helm) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Collaborate with other engineers, platform teams and AI specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Take ownership of production systems beyond code meets build requirements

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Senior Software Engineer or Senior DevOps Engineer or similar
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals: design, testing, operability
• Strong experience building API-first or service-based systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
• Hands-on experience deploying/operating production systems using containers and automation
• Ability to work across development, deployment and operational concerns
• Track record of owning technical outcomes in complex environments
