Overview

In this Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst role, you will monitor and analyze threat landscapes, producing actionable insights for security teams and leadership. You’ll synthesize information from OSINT, commercial, and government sources to support proactive defense and incident response. The position involves creating concise reports, IOCs, and briefings that inform risk decisions across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to contextualize threats, track threat actors, and advance Vanguard’s security posture. Responsibilities

  • Collect and correlate cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources (OSINT, commercial, government)
  • Monitor threat landscape and disseminate critical insights to stakeholders
  • Conduct tactical and operational threat analysis for campaigns, identifying new TTPs and vulnerabilities
  • Assist leadership in tracking threat actors and emerging TTPs relevant to Vanguard’s footprint
  • Produce actionable reports, briefings, and IOCs for internal stakeholders
  • Exercise critical thinking to identify correlations and extrapolate salient threat artifacts
  • Escalate findings to managers with appropriate risk analysis
  • Collaborate with hunt and analysis teams to contextualize threats and support containment of incidents
  • Draft analytical assessments and provide editorial guidance to junior analysts

Key requirements

  • Experience in a SOC or cyber operations environment
  • Knowledge of current and emerging cyber adversaries and TTPs
  • Knowledge of a Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform, feed integrations, and security/process orchestration and automation
  • Knowledge of threat modelling and adversary frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, ACH)
  • Knowledge of CVSS, CVE analysis, exploitation techniques, and attack surface management
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and techniques; understanding of common threats and attack vectors
  • Ability to write succinct briefings, presentations, and reports for varied audiences
