Wargaming Research & Systems Analyst (WRSA)

Overview

Warfighting Systems Analyst at Anduril connects operational needs to system architecture and mission outcomes through modeling, simulation, and wargaming. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to train customers, support product iterations, and tailor simulations to customer needs in a fast-paced, agile environment. The role centers on translating military problems into data-driven analyses that inform design choices and capabilities. This is a key early hire for a UAE-based simulation center, with initial assignment in London and relocation to Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Conduct modeling, simulation, and experimentation (M&S), including wargaming, to train customers and inform product improvement
• Develop customer-based scenarios to demonstrate capabilities and validate system performance
• Evaluate how platform, payload, autonomy, sensors, communications, navigation, and C2 affect mission outcomes
• Design and run tactical and mission-level analyses and wargames to assess autonomous system capabilities
• Create physics-based models and scenarios emphasizing red/blue force interactions and tactics
• Assess system-of-systems interactions, integration risks, dependencies, and mission impacts
• Ensure analyses address real operational problems and customer needs
• Collaborate with engineering and business development to demonstrate capabilities through rigorous, data-driven analysis

Key requirements

• Active country-specific Secret clearance
• 3+ years in Operations Research, Systems Analysis, systems engineering, mission engineering, test and evaluation, or related technical-operational field
• Experience with tactical experiments and wargaming design, scenario development, data analytics, and trade-space analysis
• Proficiency in C++ or Python for modeling and scripting
• Ability to connect system performance and design choices to mission outcomes
