Overview
As Regional Recruitment Manager, you will lead recruitment, partnerships and Study Abroad activities across Europe and the Americas to drive student enrolment and sustainable fee income. You’ll shape regional growth strategies, oversee partner engagements and lead a cross-functional team to advance the university’s internationalisation goals. The role combines market intelligence, strategy delivery and stakeholder management at senior levels. It offers the chance to impact global student mobility and build durable, value-driven partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies across Europe, North America and Study Abroad markets
- Achieve recruitment, conversion and enrolment growth targets
- Identify new market opportunities and diversification opportunities
- Contribute to institutional recruitment planning and forecasting
- Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Establish and manage relationships with universities, providers, agencies and government bodies
- Negotiate and oversee partnership agreements and contracts
- Lead Study Abroad recruitment strategy and increase non-graduating enrolments
- Monitor trends, analyze data and produce market reports and forecasts
- Lead recruitment events, oversee cross-functional collaboration to maximise conversion
- Manage and develop a regional recruitment team and conduct performance reviews
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across internal stakeholders
- Build relationships with external partners, study abroad providers and government/education bodies
Key requirements
- Significant experience in international student recruitment or international education
- Experience delivering recruitment, enrolment or income targets
- Experience managing and developing staff
- Proven ability to build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience analyzing data and turning insights into action
- Experience operating in a complex, customer-focused environment
- Strong understanding of international higher education and recruitment
- Knowledge of European and North American education systems
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
