Land Manager

Overview

In this role you identify and secure land opportunities aligned with the business plan and expansion targets. You will build strong networks with land agents, authorities, owners, and developers to source both on- and off-market residential sites. You will support appraisal, feasibility work, and financial analyses to assess site viability and inform briefs. You will coordinate offers, negotiate terms, and manage due diligence, title work, and contract progression through to completion. The role sits at the intersection of land strategy and project delivery, enabling strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and secure land opportunities to support the business plan and expansion targets
• Establish and maintain networks with land agents, authorities, landowners and developers
• Proactively source on-market and off-market residential development opportunities in target regions
• Maintain and optimise the land database to monitor potential site acquisitions
• Conduct site assessments, market research, pricing analysis and unit mix reviews
• Collaborate with internal technical, planning and commercial disciplines to evaluate constraints and viability
• Assist in running financial appraisals and preparing board acquisition papers
• Formulate offers and negotiate commercial terms; manage due diligence including title reports, planning reviews and surveys
• Liaise with external lawyers, agents, consultants and authorities to progress land contracts through to completion
