Junior C# Software Developer – Quant Trading

Overview

In this role you contribute to building cutting-edge trading and risk management applications for a major client in the quant space. You will work on platform and model development, creating libraries and data interfaces, and delivering bespoke reports. You collaborate with a team to own components of cross-asset trading solutions and related workflows. This is a hands-on, growth-focused opportunity with ownership and impact as you scale with a leading financial technology provider.

Responsibilities

• Platform development for web and desktop applications
• Model development and library creation
• Implementation work including data interfaces, workflows and bespoke reports
• Support activities and ongoing maintenance of systems
• Work on new model creation and cross-asset trading/risk management solutions
• Contribute to data interfaces and integration tasks
• Take ownership of product components and deliver tangible improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs

Key requirements

• 6+ months of professional software development experience
• Min 1 year professional experience in C# or C++
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Interest or experience in finance and capital markets
• 2:1 or First Class Undergraduate degree in CS, Maths, Finance or other technical discipline
