Senior Project Manager – Water & Environment (UK Wide)

Overview

In this Senior Project Manager role, you lead delivery of water and environmental projects and programmes, owning schedules, budgets and risk across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll act as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with stakeholders and driving performance in a complex delivery environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, agile ways of working, and continuous improvement to protect project success. You’ll mentor peers, develop capability, and contribute to Jacobs’ mission of sustainable water management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and environmental projects and programmes
• manage schedules, budgets and resources
• drive risk management and change control
• serve as primary client contact and stakeholder liaison
• promote agile ways of working and regulatory compliance
• mentor junior team members and foster high-performing teams
• ensure safety and quality in project delivery
• align projects with commercial objectives and contract forms (NEC3/NEC4)

Key requirements

• Proven project management experience across Infrastructure/Water/Design and Build
• Strong leadership and delivery performance experience
• Expertise in project planning, risk, budget, resources, and contract management
• Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, project management, or related discipline
• Project Management Qualifications: APM PMQ, Prince2, APM ChPP, NEC
