Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you lead the design and implementation of a critical data platform. You work autonomously within a senior team to translate complex needs into robust software and data solutions, guiding what should be built. You contribute to data-driven decision making and influence technical excellence across software and data engineering. You will tackle real business and customer problems across Unity titles, delivering high-quality results with impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the problem space, propose technical solutions, and own delivery through production
• Identify reliability concerns and opportunities for improvement
• Propose and deliver architectural improvements
• Influence the roadmap to foster technical excellence in software and data engineering

Key requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals applied to data engineering
• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink
