Data Analytics Manager – Casualty Reinsurance Pricing

Overview

In this role you will lead casualty data management and analytics within the Actuarial team to enable data-driven decisions. You will ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance while delivering insights to underwriting, claims and risk management. You will build dashboards and support predictive analytics, collaborating with actuaries, underwriters and brokers. Responsibilities

• Oversee casualty data collection, organization and maintenance
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze casualty data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Provide actionable insights to support underwriting, claims and risk management
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters and brokers
• Support development of predictive models and advanced analytics
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve efficiency
• Stay current with industry trends and data management technologies

Key requirements

• Proven experience in data management, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R or similar)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
• Understanding of casualty insurance products
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Effective communication of complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR)
