Overview
As Platform Engineer, you will own and evolve the deployment platform across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and cloud‑agnostic operations. You’ll work with cross‑regional teams to streamline pipelines, improve platform health, and reduce operational overhead. This role offers impact by shaping deployment practices and platform architecture in a fast‑growing telecommunications tech company. Responsibilities
- Own and maintain deployment pipelines across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments
- Design and manage containerized infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Build, improve, and support CI/CD workflows using Gradle and Bitbucket Pipelines
- Ensure deployments are reproducible, consistent, and cloud‑agnostic
- Monitor platform health and reliability with Prometheus and Grafana
- Manage secrets and secure access with Vault
- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments across environments
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes and developer experience
- Drive automation to reduce overhead and increase deployment consistency
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions and infrastructure best practices
Key requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE
- Hands‑on with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues
- Strong Linux and containerized apps knowledge
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Strong problem‑solving and independent working ability in distributed environments
