Apps Growth Consultant

Overview

As an Apps Growth Consultant, you will identify growth opportunities in partner apps and translate insights into actionable strategies for Google Play and partner teams. You will create original strategy content, collaborate with developers and data professionals to design, test, and quantify impact, and scale insights across the ecosystem using AI-enabled resources. You will deliver guidance materials that help developers optimize acquisition, engagement, and monetization, while contributing to a broader, sustainable developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Analyze partner app performance to uncover optimization and growth opportunities
• Create and deliver strategic insights and original consulting materials for Google Play, partners, and leadership
• Collaborate with developers during extended engagements to design, test, iterate, and quantify impact of product improvements
• Partner with analysts and data engineers to scale consulting insights and materials, leveraging AI capabilities
• Consolidate category insights and trends into guidance materials for the wider developer ecosystem
• Identify meaningful growth opportunities related to user acquisition, engagement, and monetization and guide optimal solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams including product, marketing, data, and executives

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years in design, product management or operations at a mobile apps company
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Experience with LLM tools, creating context documents, evaluating outputs
• Experience using SQL or strong technical ability and willingness to learn SQL
• Knowledge in product strategy/roadmap development; app monetization; user engagement; CRM and lifecycle management
