Senior iOS Engineer II – Account Mobile

Overview

In this role, you will contribute to the Wise Account mobile experience, building cohesive iOS features that scale for a global user base. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and analytics to shape cross‑currency tools and improve the overall user experience. You’ll drive code health, adopt new technologies, and align with a large mobile engineering community to deliver a high‑quality product. This is a hands‑on opportunity to influence the app’s direction and impact millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and implement consistent experiences across Wise’s native apps and web
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics and cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑focused features
• Own the overall health and quality of the iOS project
• Work with iOS and Android engineers to keep the project current and aligned across platforms
• Ensure clean, maintainable, efficient code to optimize performance, load times, and stability

Key requirements

• Proven experience building and deploying consumer‑facing apps
• Proficiency in Swift
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, or VIPER (VIPER and MVVM preferred)
• Desire to write testable code
• Understanding of REST API design
• Strong product mindset and data‑driven decision making
• Excellent communication and ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
