Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design reviews leveraging AI-driven insights and system modeling
• Set high technical standards via code and architecture reviews, including AI-generated patterns
• Mentor engineers in scalable system design and AI-first development
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the engineering org
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver integrated solutions
• Improve engineering processes by embedding automation, AI tooling, and intelligent workflows
• Build services with high availability and low latency for mission-critical use
• Utilize AI systems to improve performance, observability, and operational efficiency

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Backend service experience in Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores
• Experience evaluating and integrating AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows
• Strong understanding of applying AI to improve developer productivity, system design, and operational efficiency
