Java / Spring Boot Developer

Our banking client is looking for an experienced Java / Spring Boot Developer to join their technology team, working on the development and enhancement of business‑critical applications within a fast‑paced financial services environment.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices, working closely with architects, product owners and other engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
• Previous experience within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito and automated testing
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker and CI/CD
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development
• Strong coding, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Experience working on high‑volume, enterprise‑scale applications is desirable
