HR Business Partner
Are you an experienced HR Business Partner ready to take ownership of a high-profile, multi-site portfolio?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm, known for combining big-firm expertise with a genuinely personal, people-first culture. As they continue to invest in their people strategy, they’re looking for a confident, commercially-minded HR Business Partner to lead HR Business Partnering across four offices.
This is a senior-level, Partner-facing role. You’ll work directly with Staff Partners, Heads of Office and senior leadership teams, shaping and delivering people strategies that are genuinely aligned to business priorities – not sitting on the sidelines of it.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with senior Partners and leadership teams across four regional offices, understanding each client group’s strategic drivers and ways of working to shape a tailored people strategy
- Lead change management interventions and deliver holistic, user-centric people solutions, working closely with subject matter experts across and beyond the HR function
- Own talent management strategy for your client groups, aligning local activity with the firm’s broader talent programmes
- Stay close to the full employee lifecycle across your portfolio – recruitment, promotions, the firm’s structured partnership pathway, and escalated ER cases
- Partner with the business and internal People teams on salary reviews
- Represent your portfolio on relevant firm-wide groups, bringing insight, ideas and solutions to the table
- Use data and evidence – rather than personal bias – to assess engagement, identify trends and inform both tactical and strategic decisions
- Share learnings and collaborate across the wider People team, contributing to broader people projects where relevant
The Role Requires:
- Demonstrable experience in HR business partnering within people-centred organisations; professional services experience is advantageous
- Strong track record of planning, managing and organising resources to meet objectives
- Solid knowledge of employment law, technical HR requirements and industry best practice
- Skilled at interpreting complex, sometimes ambiguous requirements and translating them into practical solutions
- Proven ability to influence and shift the thinking and behaviour of senior stakeholders, including at Partner level
- A natural relationship-builder who can balance the needs of multiple stakeholders at once
- Comfortable holding yourself and others to account, with a reputation for delivering on commitments
- CIPD chartered (or equivalent) preferred
Why apply?
- A genuinely senior, strategic HRBP role with real Partner-level influence
- A varied, multi-site portfolio spanning four offices
- A collaborative, values-led culture that invests seriously in its people
- The opportunity to shape and lead change across a growing people function
Location: Based in London, with frequent travel to other offices across the region.
