Senior Fire Engineer – Kensington, London

Overview

In this role you will lead fire engineering projects from design through to implementation within a busy compliance consultancy. Based in Kensington, you’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant fire engineering solutions for residential, commercial, education, hotel and retail developments. You will produce fire strategies, design work and CFD models, while communicating findings through clear reports to clients. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with stakeholder meetings, contributing to complex UK projects and a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering projects from design through to practical implementation
• Produce fire strategies for diverse sector projects
• Develop fire engineering designs for complex UK projects
• Conduct CFD modelling as part of project delivery
• Attend client and design team meetings in person and remotely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant solutions

Key requirements

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related field
• At least five years of consultancy experience in fire engineering
• Chartered status (CEng) or actively pursuing it
• proven experience delivering UK projects with knowledge of UK fire codes and regulations
