Cost Engineer / Cost Manager – Permanent Opportunities
I’m currently looking to speak with experienced Cost Engineers, Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers interested in permanent opportunities across major infrastructure, energy and capital projects.
We’re supporting a number of organisations looking to strengthen their project controls and cost management teams, with opportunities available across different levels of seniority.
Typical responsibilities include:
• Cost control, forecasting and budgeting across the project lifecycle
• Producing and maintaining project cost reports
• Managing actuals, accruals, commitments and Value of Work Done (VOWD)
• Monitoring project performance and identifying cost variances
• Supporting monthly reporting and cost review meetings
• Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Procurement and Engineering teams
• Supporting estimating and forecast updates
• Providing clear cost analysis and insight to project stakeholders
• Managing cost information across complex, high-value projects
What we’re looking for:
• Experience within Cost Engineering, Cost Control, Cost Management or Project Controls
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and reporting skills
• Experience working within major projects or programme environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good stakeholder and communication skills
• Strong Excel capability
• Experience within infrastructure, energy, utilities, renewables, nuclear, defence, transportation or other major capital programmes would be particularly relevant
