Overview
In this role you’ll help design and build high-performance, scalable components for Goldman Sachs’ electronic trading platform. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver low-latency services that meet regulatory and market needs. Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain high-performance, high-availability platforms
- Collaborate with engineering & product teams to implement best-in-class solutions
- Coordinate with counterpart teams globally to promote reuse and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
- Strong Java programming skills, ideally in a real-time low latency / zero GC environment
- Desire to produce readable, maintainable software
- Proven problem-solving ability with critical and creative thinking
- Effective communicator in written and verbal modes
- Hands-on experience writing robust automated unit and integration tests
