We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Optical Assistant / Dispensing Assistant to join a well-established independent optical practice with a long-standing reputation for outstanding patient care and premium eyewear.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a beautifully refurbished, boutique-style practice offering a modern and welcoming environment, excellent clinical standards, and a genuinely supportive team culture.

” Assisting patients with frame styling and lens recommendations” Taking accurate measurements and supporting the dispensing process” Providing a warm, professional, and personalised patient experience” Supporting with spectacle adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs” Managing spectacle orders and liaising with suppliers where required” Maintaining accurate patient records and handling administration duties” Supporting the wider practice team with day-to-day operations” Ensuring the practice always looks professional and welcoming
What We’re Looking For
” Previous optical dispensing experience is essential” Strong communication and customer service skills” Someone organised, proactive, and confident in a busy environment” A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn” Comfortable using IT systems and adapting to evolving ways of working” Level 3 Optical Assistant qualification would be advantageous
