As a Software Engineer in Deloitte’s Tax & Legal Digital Innovation team, you will build software solutions within an Agile product team. You will work on a market-leading, cross-functional engineering environment that blends risk, compliance and technology. You’ll deploy modern platforms like Kubernetes and AI-driven tools to deliver innovative product suites. You’ll contribute to quality through automation testing, code reviews, and collaboration with QA, product managers, and offshore developers. Responsibilities

• Develop software as part of an Agile product team
• Manage own workload and deliverables within a product team using DevOps practices
• Hands-on work with Kubernetes and AI-driven development tools
• Maintain high quality via automation testing, code reviews, and QA collaboration
• Participate in knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and group meetings
• Mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Analysts to understand requirements and timelines
• Coordinate with offshore development centres to deliver products

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or Computer Science or related discipline
• Proven software development experience with C#
• SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• Front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)
• Cloud services (Azure)
• Experience with GenAI tools such as Copilot
• Full stack development experience
• Azure DevOps and Git or similar repositories
• Software development lifecycle, TDD, CI/CD
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
