Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – Blackburn Area, Lancashire (to £65K)

We have a super opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the fantastic team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Blackburn area of Lancashire

• full time working 40 hours per week with some weekends on a rota and no OOH. (Part time hours can also be considered)
• practice is well established and RCVS accredited with a loyal and growing client base and an outstanding level of equipment and technologies
• we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for small animal practice
• ideally you will be confident in routine consultations and surgery, keen to work with a diverse and interesting caseload and to continue learning and growing.
• caseload is interesting and varied and the practice is continually developing and strengthening in-house services — particularly surgery or orthopaedics.
• join a brilliant Vet team and work alongside Certificate holders in medicine, dentistry and ECC
• Well located in East Lancashire and offers a fantastic lifestyle with great local amenities, excellent schools, and easy commuting links with the stunning Ribble Valley and the tranquillity of the Pennines nearby.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• experienced veterinary surgeon
• confident in routine consultations and surgery,
