Overview

In this role, you will join a leading national law firm’s Dispute Resolution team to handle a mix of commercial and high-value residential property disputes. You work closely with real estate, planning, and other teams to advise on pre-action strategy and manage mediation, arbitration, and litigation. You will handle your own caseload with supervision and contribute to cross-department projects, supporting major clients and institutions. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-quality practice with a clear development pathway. You will help shape outcomes for complex property matters and the built environment sector.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on pre-action strategy, risk assessment, and asset management
  • Manage commercial and residential property disputes
  • Oversee mediation, arbitration, and litigation processes
  • Collaborate with real estate, planning, and non-contentious teams
  • Support major institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals
  • Handle own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Contribute to team projects and cross-department collaboration

Key requirements

  • 1-4 years’ PQE in real estate disputes or commercial property litigation
  • Experience advising on commercial and/or high-value residential property matters
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied and complex workload
  • Collaborative, proactive, and commercially minded approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence with major clients
  • SRA-registered solicitor
  • Exposure to built environment sector is advantageous
