Responsibilities

• Manage high value and complex defendant clinical negligence claims
• Provide high quality legal advice to healthcare clients (NHS organisations)
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other key documents
• Delegate work and supervise junior lawyers in the team
• Engage in settlement discussions, mediations and hearings as required
• Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Key requirements

• Strong background in clinical negligence (Defendant experience preferred)
