Overview
In this role you will support a leading international law firm’s Cardiff Real Estate practice by handling high-quality property transactions for a diverse client base. You will work within a collaborative, ambitious team to manage a broad range of matters from acquisitions to development, delivering practical, commercially-focused advice. You will build client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and team growth. Responsibilities
- Manage acquisitions and disposals
- Handle commercial lettings and landlord & tenant matters
- Oversee asset management work
- Support development and regeneration projects
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases and ancillary documents
- Manage transactions from instruction through completion
- Build client relationships and provide commercially focused advice
- Lead business development initiatives and contribute to team growth
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
Key requirements
- 8+ years PQE in real estate
- Strong technical knowledge across property transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Experience supervising and developing junior team members
- Demonstrable business development experience
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work under pressure
