Overview

In this role you will support the growth of a Residential Property team in Bournemouth by handling a broad range of conveyancing matters and collaborating closely with clients, agents and lenders. You will manage transactions end-to-end, maintain compliant file management, and help deliver an excellent client experience. The opportunity suits experienced assistants to qualified fee earners, with hybrid options and clear progression paths. Responsibilities

  • Manage own caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Support qualified fee earners with all stages of a transaction
  • Handle title checks, enquiries, searches, reporting and post-completion work
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • Ensure progress is clearly communicated and transactions move forward
  • Maintain accurate file management and compliance with CQS standards
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and client experience

Key requirements

  • Experience in a residential conveyancing role in a fee-earning capacity
  • Ability to manage files and support fee earners across the full transaction lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
  • Good working knowledge of CQS standards (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, supportive team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • For senior roles: qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with broad experience
