Senior Electronics Engineer

Overview

Senior Electronics Engineer leading APQP/PPAP for complex medical/energy-based electronic products. You will guide NPI quality deliverables and collaborate with engineering and supply chain to ensure regulatory and quality excellence. You’ll own risk management and CAPA across the product lifecycle to enable smooth production releases. This role offers impact on supplier performance and continuous improvement within a structured, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APQP/PPAP process for new product introductions for mass production release
• Manage core NPI quality deliverables (DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, FAIRs) through prototype and pre-production stages
• Represent Quality in NPI project meetings and translate data into clear actions for engineering and supply chain
• Drive resolution of NPI quality issues via corrective/preventive actions and analysis of early market returns
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure PPAP compliance, audits, and proper documentation for regulatory and quality expectations
• Strengthen regulatory compliance and risk management across the product lifecycle (ISO/FDA-aligned)

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience delivering full APQP/PPAP lifecycle in regulated environments (medical devices or automotive)
• Strong knowledge of PCBA/electronics manufacturing processes and controls
• Proficiency with APQP tools/methods (D/PFMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, DMAIC, CAPA) and auditing
• Experience supporting design, development, and manufacturing of electronic products with R&D/NPI exposure
• Excellent communication to summarize complex data and drive actions across teams
• Engineering or quality qualification (degree/HND/HNC in Electronic/Mechanical/Production Engineering or Quality Management); Six Sigma certification is advantageous
