Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will anchor the Professional & Financial Services team and lead the development of platforms that visualize data science insights. You own the full tech stack, set architectural direction, and mentor others to deliver scalable, high-performance systems. You translate business challenges into production-ready software, balancing rapid prototyping with maintainable, large-scale products. This role combines technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven AI landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of complex, scalable projects aligned with long-term business needs
• Build reliable, high-performance frontend and backend systems delivering AI-powered insights
• Guide engineers in cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Product Managers) to deliver sophisticated systems
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and growth
• Set engineering standards across the full stack and ensure code quality and best practices
• Provide deep technical expertise to customers, translating business challenges into production-ready solutions
• Balance rapid prototyping with shipping and maintaining large-scale products in a fast-paced environment

Key requirements

• Deep technical mastery in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue)
• Significant backend experience in Python or TypeScript ecosystems
• Proven track record leading architecture of complex software and deploying to cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Extensive experience with containerisation and infrastructure-as-code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging full-stack issues and solid testing approaches (Jest or Cypress)
• Autonomy and ownership with ability to translate vague problems into polished execution
• Effective collaboration and communication of technical strategy to diverse stakeholders
