Full-time, PermanentWe are working with an established and growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) is looking for an IT Support Technician to join its technical team in Ipswich.The RoleYou will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to a range of business customers, working from the office with occasional travel to customer sites across Suffolk.Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support via helpdesk and on-site visitsTroubleshooting Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365Resolving basic networking issuesAssisting with IT projects, upgrades and deploymentsSupporting hardware and software installationsDeveloping your knowledge of servers, backups and IT securityWorking collaboratively with the wider technical teamParticipating in occasional out-of-hours support when requiredAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:2+ years’ experience in an IT support roleGood knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365Understanding of basic networkingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication and customer service skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious MSP experience, Microsoft certifications or an IT apprenticeship would be beneficial but are not essential.Essential RequirementFull UK driving licence
