Technical Sales Consultant – Utilities Segment (Industrial Software Solutions)

Overview

In this role you will drive digital transformation for utilities by promoting GeoSCADA and AVEVA solutions. You will bridge deep technical knowledge with consultative sales to deliver end-to-end architectures from field devices to enterprise analytics. You will engage stakeholders, deliver compelling workshops, and ensure secure, standards-compliant designs. You will collaborate with Schneider Electric and AVEVA teams to deploy integrated automation and data-driven insights at scale.

Responsibilities

• Position GeoSCADA as the core SCADA solution for water, wastewater, and utility networks
• Architect digital transformation strategies using AVEVA software, Historian, and analytics suites for enterprise integration
• Engage with utility stakeholders to translate operational challenges into software-driven solutions
• Deliver presentations and workshops showcasing integrated automation and data-driven insights
• Design software architectures enabling data flow from device layer to enterprise systems
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and adherence to industry standards in solution design
• Collaborate with Schneider Electric sales, AVEVA specialists, and system integrators to deliver complete solutions
• Understand devices used in telemetry architectures
• Deliver customer presentations on digital transformation challenges in utilities
• Support bid management and proposal development with technical input and architecture validation
• Promote best practices in digital transformation for utilities, including predictive analytics, asset performance management, and sustainability initiatives

Key requirements

• expertise in SCADA systems, AVEVA software, Historian, and enterprise integration tools
• strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, cybersecurity, and data architecture
• experience in utilities (water, wastewater, or energy) with OT/IT convergence
• proven track record in consultative selling and solution-based sales in industrial automation or software domains
• familiarity with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure and AVEVA digital transformation solutions (preferred)
