I’m working with a growing independent building consultancy that is making a key hire as part of its long-term expansion plans.
You’ll take ownership of a strong pipeline of major works projects, predominantly across central London, with genuine freedom to manage your own workload and influence how the business develops.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver major works from instruction through to completion
- Prepare specifications and act as Contract Administrator
- Manage external and communal refurbishment projects
- Work across fire-door replacements, roofing and cyclical works
- Carry out damp surveys, inspections and drone surveys
- Build strong relationships with repeat residential clients
What we’re looking for
- 2-3+ years’ Building Surveying experience
- Strong Contract Administration and specification experience
- Residential refurbishment or major works background
- Comfortable running projects independently
- Confident dealing directly with clients and contractors
- MRICS welcomed but not essential
Experience in Party Wall, expert witness or HomeBuyer work would be useful, but definitely not a requirement.
Package
- £45,000 – £60,000 basic salary
- £5,000 car allowance
- Performance-related bonus
- 25 days’ holiday
