Overview

Visualfiles Developer – Remote Working role at TieTalent. A leading UK law firm seeks a Visualfiles Developer with experience in Visualfiles. You can be based anywhere in the UK, as remote working is supported.

Responsibilities

• Develop business solutions interfacing with the firm’s line-of-business applications and customise or configure off-the-shelf software.
• Develop the case management system to continually optimise business efficiency and procedures.
• Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages including the practice management system.
• Propose, design and implement new systems and analyse existing systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and performance enhancement.
• Assist with business process analysis to further enhance workflow processes.
• Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects.
• Workflow and integration development — build process improvement workflows across the application stack and assist others to integrate workflows into line-of-business applications.
• Database development — design data structures and access methods to support custom development.

Qualifications

• Development background with at least 3 years’ experience designing, developing and delivering bespoke business applications.
• Prior VisualFiles development experience and knowledge of legal workflows.
• Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand the challenges faced by the firm and its clients and develop solutions to match.
• Ability to identify projects that may be at risk early and communicate to manage expectations.
• Innovative mindset with willingness to experiment and explore new ways of delivering technology solutions.
• Develops applications with security in mind, protecting data at all times.
• C#, VB, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS would be desirable.
• Willingness to learn new methods and techniques.

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary £40,000 – £50,000 + Benefits including home working + Bonus.
