Offshore Structures Transportation & Installation Lead

Overview

In this role you will lead the Transport & Installation (T&I) activities for offshore wind projects, shaping the offshore execution strategy. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to define installation methodologies for foundations, substations and subsea cables, and oversee marine logistics and schedules. You’ll provide engineering oversight, lead safety-focused execution, and manage relationships with contractors and regulators to ensure compliant, efficient delivery. Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the T&I strategy for offshore wind projects
• Define installation methodologies for WTG foundations, offshore substations, and subsea cables
• Manage installation schedules, sequences, and marine logistics
• Oversee T&I engineering deliverables including lift studies and rigging design
• Review and approve contractor T&I engineering documentation
• Lead planning and readiness for offshore campaigns and vessel/port logistics
• Act as primary interface for T&I contractors and stakeholders
• Support procurement with T&I scopes of work
• Engage with certification bodies and regulators to ensure compliance
• Lead HSE-by-design, conduct risk assessments, and ensure industry-standard compliance

Key requirements

• Significant experience in offshore windfarm T&I strategies and execution
• In-depth knowledge of marine operations, vessel suitability, and offshore installation procedures
• Strong technical oversight skills including engineering deliverables and alignment
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Understanding of HSE practices and compliance with industry standards
• Capability to manage complex project interfaces efficiently and cost-effectively
