Key Account Manager South | Technical Solutions
Up to £70,000 + Uncapped Commission | £100,000+ OTEHybrid / Field-Based | South UK Territory | Regular Ashbourne Interaction
Engineer first. Salesperson second.
This isn’t a traditional Key Account Manager role.
We’re looking for someone with agenuine engineering background who has moved into technical salesand wants more than simply managing a portfolio of accounts.
You’ll work with industrial and manufacturing customers to understand their operations, identify challenges and uncover opportunities forinnovative material-movement, engineered technology and automation solutions.
You’ll have the freedom to create opportunities, develop ideas and work alongside Engineering and Applications specialists to turn customer challenges into commercially successful solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing key customer relationships across the South
Getting on-site and understanding how customers’ operations really work
Identifying problems, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Spotting opportunities forautomation, technology and engineered solutions
Developing new opportunities within existing and prospective customers
Working with Engineering and Applications teams to scope the right solution
Managing opportunities from initial conversation through toproposal, negotiation and close
Expanding the range and value of solutions delivered into customers
Becoming a trusted adviser customers involvebefore they know exactly what they need

Your engineering foundation is.
Ideally, you’ll have anengineering degree, apprenticeship or strong hands-on engineering background, followed by experience in technical or consultative sales.
