Equity Analyst – Global Long Short Fund

A great opportunity has arisen working with a really successful long/ short hedge fund in London.

The fund takes classic long/ short positions in global listed businesses and has a superb track record of making significant returns to investors.

They are now looking to recruit an Equity Analyst to their team.

The role will work on carrying on detailed equity analysis of companies, sectors and markets for the PMs to identify market or economic situations which might lead to a change in value of stocks. This will involve financial, economic, macro and micro analysis of markets and business.

The successful candidate will have a real interest in investing , almost certainly having their own portfolio, and have a background as follows:

• Equity analysts from buy and sell side firms
• Investment bankers looking to move into a hedge fund
• Private equity professionals
• CFAs and ACAs
• Very strong academics
