Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Level 2 rehabilitation hospital in London.
The service supports men and women with enduring mental health needs, including individuals stepping down from secure services, acute hospitals, or prison settings.
🧠 The Role
You will provide high-quality, recovery-focused occupational therapy, supporting service users to develop independence, meaningful routines, functional skills, and community living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist occupational therapy caseload
- Complete comprehensive occupational and functional assessments
- Develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes
- Support service users with daily living and independent living skills
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions
- Support community reintegration and vocational development
- Contribute to care plans, CPA reviews, risk assessments and MDT meetings
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures
- Promote recovery and meaningful occupational engagement
Requirements
✔ HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
✔ Experience within mental health, rehabilitation or complex care
✔ Strong understanding of recovery-focused occupational therapy
✔ Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
