Overview
In this role, you will support transaction and potential transaction work within Deloitte’s Transaction Services team. You’ll assess target businesses across commercial and financial dimensions to identify value, risks, and key issues for client decisions. You will work with cross-functional deal teams and engage with senior stakeholders in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The opportunity combines due diligence, deal support, and reporting accounting services across corporate and private equity transactions, with a path to broad involvement in cross-border projects. You will collaborate with diverse teams, contribute to technical rigor, and grow through Deloitte’s development programs.

Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the target business and drivers
- Interpret information memoranda and business plans
- Analyze historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets
- Evaluate projections, assumptions, and working capital facilities
- Assess potential synergies and financing terms
- Identify and report key issues affecting risk or price
- Review sale and purchase agreements and relate findings to due diligence
- Examine financial structures and credit arrangements
- Collaborate effectively within inclusive, diverse teams
Key requirements
- An ACA qualification or equivalent/experience
- Strong report writing, attention to detail, and risk management focus
- Excellent academic background or equivalent experience
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience operating with senior-level stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Interest in Technology, Media and Telecoms sector
- Desirable: exposure to financial due diligence, language skills, strong Excel, commercial acumen, client focus
