Software Engineer III – AI/ML Data Platforms (Python, Cloud Native)

Overview

In this role you contribute to building and supporting trusted, scalable technology products within AMDP. You will work on AI-enabled data platforms, collaborating with product managers to advance AI for data initiatives while delivering secure, production-grade code. You’ll promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery, and drive automation to boost operational stability. This is a hands-on role in a cross-functional, agile team shaping data-driven financial technology at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develops and troubleshoots software solutions across multiple technical areas with an emphasis on non-routine problem solving
• Collaborates with product managers and data strategy teams to advance AI for data initiatives
• Delivers secure, high-quality production code and conducts code reviews and debugging
• Champions enterprise AI-assisted development practices (AI-assisted reviews, testing, refactoring) and establishes validation standards for security and quality
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediations to improve operational stability of software systems

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Strong Python architecture and development skills; experience in containerized environments
• Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with ability to set team expectations for AI output validation
• Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Practical cloud-native experience
