The post holder will be responsible as the lead specialist for the design & management of mechanical services at all properties owned or maintained by the Trust. Ensuring that the service is provided efficiently and effectively to the highest possible standard within the resources allocated. To provide a high quality service that is responsive to service, clinical and patient needs.Providing detailed professional and technical advice to staff and contractors on issues that are often highly complex and non-routine. The role will be to assist Senior Management in ensuring that the many and varied mechanical systems provide an uninterrupted and safe service for the hospital site., Under the direction of Senior Management you will act as the Lead Specialist/Authorised Person for one or more of the following areas of responsibility to ensure all statutory obligations are complied with including:-
