Media & English Teacher – Experience and Qualifications
A degree in English, Media, Journalism, or a closely related discipline
A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)
Strong subject knowledge across English and Media
Experience teaching English, Media Studies, or related subjects
Excellent written, verbal, organisational, and ICT skills
The ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils of all abilities
A creative and engaging approach to teaching
The ability to develop pupils’ analytical, communication, and creative skills
A genuine enthusiasm for both English and contemporary media
The legal right to work in the UK
