TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team, supporting Primary Schools across Brecon . Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time, long-term placements , we’d love to hear from you!
Your Role Will Involve:
- Supporting class teachers with learning activities
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
- Encouraging the development of social and emotional skills
- Previous experience working with children (in schools, clubs, nurseries or similar)
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A passion for helping young learners succeed!
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential —your enthusiasm and commitment matter most!
