At Mid Ulster Cars and TJ Hamilton & Co Ltd, we take pride in presenting every vehicle to the highest possible standard. Due to continued growth across both businesses, we are looking for a reliable, hard-working and enthusiastic Vehicle Valeter to join our team in Cookstown.
This role will mainly support our busy aftersales departments, preparing customer vehicles for collection after servicing and repairs, while also assisting our sales departments and wider business when required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join two long-established, respected local motor retailers with a strong reputation for customer care and quality.
Main Duties
- Washing and vacuuming customer service vehicles
- Preparing used and retail vehicles to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness of showroom and forecourt vehicles
- Assisting with vehicle movements between departments
- Supporting sales and aftersales teams with general duties
- Keeping wash bays and valeting areas clean and organised
- Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks when required
- Helping maintain high presentation standards across both businesses
What Were Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Previous valeting or motor trade experience beneficial, but not essential
